Hello and thank you for visiting my website! I am working on a new book and would like to introduce myself. My book is about the years that I lived in the Washington, D.C. jail, accused of no crime, in the late 1980s. The city then was awash with violent crime on the streets and corruption in high places. But first, a little background. I was born in Northern Virginia and had two brothers. Our parents worked hard and sent us all to boarding schools in our teens. For me, it was the Kent School in Connecticut where I was put two years ahead. Being a good student, that set the stage for Harvard College accepting me three years later and my doing research at Oxford. Then I went to the Yale School of Medicine and from there, spent seven years training as a general and plastic surgeon. At last I returned to the D.C. area to open my plastic surgery solo practiced in Nothern Virginia. I was the only woman plastic surgeon in the area at the time. That and the publication of my first book made my practice a success from the start.
